The Publishing Intern will assist in manuscript writing and editing, conduct research, and contribute to publishing strategies while gaining hands-on experience in the marketing and publishing industry.

Responsibilities
Assisting in drafting and structuring book manuscripts and employee manuals
Ensuring consistency in voice, style, and structure across manuscript projects
Providing feedback and revisions to improve the clarity and coherence of long-form content
Conducting research related to client projects, industry standards, and publishing best practices
Organizing materials and resources to support client projects
Refining narrative flow and clarity in book projects
Developing high-quality long-form content for client manuscripts
Collaborating with editors to maintain consistent brand storytelling
Reviewing manuscripts for grammar, style, and structural accuracy
Preparing content for publication, ensuring adherence to formatting guidelines
Participating in creative strategy sessions for manuscript development
Supporting the publishing team with content organization and editorial planning
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution and receiving school credit for the internship
Must be able to demonstrate that the internship is integrated with their coursework, enhancing their educational experience
Must fulfill specific educational requirements set by their institution, department, or major program of study
Preferred
Degree/profile in Publishing, Marketing, English, Communication, etc
Fluent English (Bilingual is a plus)
Business-oriented and open-minded
Good communication skills
Able to gain people's confidence and put them at ease
Able to cope with pressure
