The role of Senior Program Manager involves ensuring product plans and programs are executed on time, managing cross-functional communication, and leading teams through high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities
Ensure product plans, programs, and parts are delivered on schedule
Compile, maintain, and track detailed timelines
Monitor status and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
Escalate late or at-risk programs and parts as needed (without necessarily leading recovery plans)
Serve as primary liaison between product development, engineering, and other internal teams
Coordinate responses and communication across teams to resolve issues efficiently
Write, track, and manage technical or service bulletins
Write and track engineering or technical requisitions
Compile and maintain program budgets
Lead meetings and guide teams through complex or urgent situations
Remove roadblocks, challenge assumptions, and drive decisions forward
Act as a “quarterback” during high-visibility situations by:
Defining the problem clearly
Bringing teams together to define solutions
Presenting problems and solutions effectively to senior management
Qualification
Required
Strong execution mindset with a 'gets things done' attitude
Experience leading people and meetings effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to break down roadblocks and push back when necessary
Skilled at organizing teams and information to solve high-pressure problems calmly
Experience supporting structured product development programs
Familiarity with development processes, milestones, and enterprise systems used for program tracking
Preferred
Extensive experience in managing complex product development programs
Strong internal networking and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency navigating multiple systems for tracking program timelines, budgets, and documentation
