Responsibilities
You’ll report on scope completion and scope deviations for assigned projects
You’ll report on project schedules and associated timelines for deliverables
You’ll report on project budgets and the effective use of available funds
You’ll provide advice and recommendations on delivery methods suitable for the project(s)
You’ll support contractor selection and assist with preparation of contractor contracts
You’ll oversee contracting and material procurement activities
You’ll monitor and coordinate project schedules throughout design and construction
You’ll monitor technical accuracy, efficiency, coordination, and constructability of project work
You’ll ensure cost-effectiveness of designs, drawings, reports, estimates, and other required deliverables
You’ll review construction documents for compliance with approved project scope and budget
You’ll oversee and support design and construction quality
You’ll assist with the development of design standards
You’ll develop uniform standards for all aspects of project delivery
You’ll provide the framework for reporting and control systems
You’ll provide outreach and coordination with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors
You’ll develop interface management strategies for multiple, concurrent projects
You’ll perform monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and support financial management and controls
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6-8+ years' experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects
PMP required, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with client approval IEEE, IEC participating member
Professional experience with MS Project, Primavera (P6), or equivalent project management planning tools
Professional knowledge of cost management and controls, budget forecasting, demonstrated risk management and mitigation with exceptional communication skills
B.S. in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with client approval
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) License
