Responsibilities
Define scope and set projects up for success by creating project briefs, validating required inputs, and building project plans with milestones, dependencies, timelines, and critical path
Run alignment and execution by leading kickoffs, scheduling knowledge-download sessions, coordinating handoffs across teams, and driving delivery through drafts, reviews, approvals, and production batches
Keep work on track by monitoring progress against plan, adjusting sequencing as dependencies change, removing blockers, and surfacing tradeoffs with clear options when scope or timelines shift
Maintain clear communication and documentation by publishing notes, keeping a single source of truth, providing direct status updates, and ensuring action items have owners, due dates, and follow-through
Manage quality and completion by coordinating QA and fix cycles, enforcing definitions of done and acceptance criteria, tracking issues to closure, and confirming required sign-offs
Improve how work runs by maintaining templates and lightweight workflows, identifying recurring bottlenecks, implementing practical process fixes, and supporting rollout handoffs as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering cross-functional projects with tight timelines
Experience supporting education, curriculum, pedagogy, or learning-content production workflows
Strong planning and dependency management skills, including critical path and sequencing
Excellent documentation, organization, and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple parallel projects without losing detail or momentum
Clear, direct communicator who can escalate appropriately and present options, not just problems
Tools: Google Workspace, Airtable, and standard PM tools (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet), plus Slack
Preferred
Background in teaching, curriculum design, instructional design, or education publishing
Experience managing SME review cycles, QA passes, and editorial approvals
Familiarity with EdTech or academic product development environments
