They are seeking a Data Entry Clerk Student Employee to assist with data entry and clerical tasks in their Distribution Department, working 10-18 hours per week.

Responsibilities
Read source documents and move data from paper documents into digital files and or database systems using computer hardware like keyboards or scanners
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
Accurately input data into databases and update existing records and files
Compare data with source documents and ensure data integrity by performing data quality checks
Store completed documents in appropriate locations
Locate and correct data errors or discrepancies and report them to supervisors
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language including reading, writing, and speaking English
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation during hire and periodically thereafter during employment
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications
Skilled in using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data, or process information
Ability to type with an acceptable speed and accuracy
Ability to communicate (read and write) in English at an intermediate level
Ability to accurately and effectively enter data into computer systems and databases
Proficiently use data entry software (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and tools
Ability to follow procedures and instructions
