Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field , or equivalent experience
3–8+ years of experience in database administration and support
Proficiency in one or more database technologies (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL )
Strong understanding of database security, performance tuning, and backup strategies
Experience with Linux/Unix environments (RHEL preferred)
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred
Certifications such as Oracle OCA/OCP , Microsoft SQL Server DBA , AWS Certified Database , or RHCSA
Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL)
Familiarity with STIG compliance , DoD environments , or FedRAMP standards
Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
