TAHC - Quality Assurance and Training Specialist

Capps Plumbing and Sewer, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance and Training Specialist at the Texas Animal Health Commission. Responsibilities

Develops and implements quality assurance program for TexCore and other programs, as assigned
Plans and organizes field activity review assignments
Conducts case and quality assurance reviews of TexCore verifying information received from field activities
Assesses and edits recommendations for errors
Communicates final determination of case review to appropriate staff
Identifies cases for investigation
Reviews and analyzes cases and extracts data to be verified; collects performance data; identifies adverse trends; and determines compliance with TexCore requirements and policies and procedures
Documents review findings
Analyzes quality control error findings for trends or patterns
Participates in field improvement activities. Participates in planning and developing specialized training and staff development, as assigned
Delivers TexCore training in a classroom, distance learning or occasionally in an e-Learning environment
Coordinates training events for TexCore
Organizes and prepares materials and supplies for training courses, handouts and the Region Office Standard Operating Procedures
Researches, develops, reviews and assesses training programs and materials, and recommends modifications as appropriate
Coordinates quality assurance projects with program records staff
Assists with special projects as assigned
May prepare articles for in-house publications as a resource for staff
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
Experience reviewing and analyzing data, troubleshooting, problem solving, planning or presenting information
Must have a valid Texas driver's license and safe driving record
Employment of selected candidate is contingent upon the receipt of an acceptable criminal background check and an acceptable moving violation record from the Texas Department of Public Safety
Must have reliable transportation
At time of hire, selected applicants must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. will be confirmed using E-Verify
All males who are age 18 through 25 and required to register with the Selective Service must present proof of registration or exemption from registration upon hire
