Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and review of U.S. federal and state tax returns for corporate and partnership entities
Support tax compliance processes by following established standards, procedures, and timelines
Conduct tax research to support compliance requirements and resolve basic tax-related issues
Utilize tax compliance technology and Excel to prepare workpapers and documentation
Collaborate with tax team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables
Maintain professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail while contributing to a respectful and inclusive work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
0–2 years of experience or academic exposure to U.S. federal and state tax compliance (internships or entry-level roles acceptable)
Foundational understanding of corporate and/or partnership tax concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to learn tax compliance technology and standardized tax processes
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Preferred
Internship or prior experience supporting tax return preparation
Exposure to tax compliance software or professional services environments
Strong communication and organizational skills
