Virtual Sales Consultant
Marcal Paper is seeking a dynamic, results driven Virtual Sales Consultant to lead strategic growth across key markets. This role demands a consultative seller who thrives in remote environments, builds lasting relationships, and drives revenue through virtual engagement.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute virtual sales plans to expand market share in markets
Develop consultative sales strategies that align with customer needs and business goals
Launch new products and drive adoption through strategic outreach
Managing dispenser installations from initial planning, customer walk-throughs and post-installation ensuring a seamless experience for the client
Deliver online presentations and demos using various platforms like Teams, Zoom, etc
Communicate with clarity and empathy across email, video, and phone, building trust remotely
Tailor messaging to distributors, end-users, and decision-makers across various industries
Track engagement metrics and optimize outreach strategies
Cultivate long-term relationships with distribution, distributor reps, end users and channel partners
Will actively participate in trade shows and food shows, presenting company products, engaging with prospective customers, and promoting the brand to drive awareness and sales
Own and exceed market revenue KPIs by executing strategic virtual sales plans, driving product bundling and expanding account value across markets
Manage objections and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency
Track engagement metrics and optimize outreach strategies
Drive repeat business through consistent follow-up and value-added communication
Maintain tracking and activity KPIs by documenting all customer interactions, tracking pipeline progression and providing accurate sales forecast
Understand market dynamics and competitive landscapes in JanSan, Foodservice, or related sectors
Adapt quickly to virtual tools and evolving customer expectations
Drive repeat business through proactive follow-ups and solution-based selling
Identify upsell opportunities and expand account value
Qualification
Required
Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and confident virtual presence
Demonstrates initiative and professionalism in remote environments
Builds rapport quickly through clear, engaging communications across video, phone and email
Applies market insights and business acumen to develop territory plans, priorities opportunities, execute with urgency to exceed sales goals
Maintain proactive touchpoints with customers, delivering relevant updates, solutions, and support that foster loyalty and long-term partnerships
Proven success managing remote markets and virtual sales cycles
