Epic technical support - Local North Carolina
InstantServe Healthcare is seeking an Epic EHR Helpdesk Analyst to provide advanced technical support for Epic electronic health record systems across multiple behavioral healthcare facilities. The role involves troubleshooting complex application issues, managing user access, and ensuring compliance with IT governance policies.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for Epic workflows, access, printing, and integration issues
Troubleshoot complex application, account, and workflow problems in Epic and other clinical systems
Deliver remote support for desktops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
Manage user provisioning, password resets, Epic access requests, and basic troubleshooting
Monitor ServiceNow queues, resolve incidents per SLAs, and handle Epic user roles/security
Support go-live events, system upgrades, Technical Dress Rehearsals (TDRs), and change management
Collaborate with informatics, application analysts, and technical teams
Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, SOPs, and deliver informal Epic training
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, security, and IT governance policies; escalate critical issues
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years providing Epic technical support in healthcare/clinical environments (Required)
Proficient with ServiceNow or other enterprise ticketing systems (Required, 2+ years)
In-depth understanding of EHR platforms like Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts (Required, 2+ years)
Preferred
Epic certification in modules such as EpicCare, Ambulatory, Security, or Service Desk (Highly Desired)
Experience supporting Epic applications like Ambulatory, Inpatient, ASAP, or HIM (Highly Desired)
