Responsibilities

Maintain R&D Lab and associated equipment
Perform process developement activities. Provide feedback and improvement ideas as needed. (CI)
Assist in the performance of EWO, Eng. Studies, R&D developments, and validations
Assists in the design, building, installation, and validation of new and/or upgraded equipment
Maintain knowledge/teaching of setup, troubleshooting and repair of equipment used in cannula tubing manufacturing and grinding of cannula
Use of hand tools, basic power tools, and gages
Use of inspection equipment (microscope. Calipers , micrometer, nap reader, micro-vu) to perform QC requirements
Be able to read and understand blueprints and basic electrical diagrams
Be familiar with specifications and documentation as outlined in Quality Control Specifications, blueprints, PM and GMP manuals which pertain to this operation
Perform process equipment adjustments and improvements, repairs and service as required to support WW cannula network
Comply with department protective clothing, safety and management policies
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business and cannula manufacturing sites

Required

High School diploma/GED required, 2-year mechanical degree preferred
5 to 7 years of Mechanical aptitude on grinding and/or tube mill process required or Tech Degree with 3 years of experience in grinding or tube mill processes
Ability to read and write and converse in English
Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function
