Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and prospects, delivering compelling presentations and tailored solutions that highlight BlackRock’s municipal strategies and services
Staying current on the municipal market and competitive landscape and provide timely, actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Work as a partner across the firm supporting BlackRock’s Municipal Suite, working closely with BlackRock’s various sales teams and Internal Relationship Managers as a resource to help support, discuss and distribute BlackRock’s Municipal Strategies across internal and external platforms
Work closely with portfolio management, credit research, and senior product specialists to create, maintain and enhance sales presentations and marketing collateral
Collaborate with portfolio management and credit research teams to review portfolio compositions, identifying trends across BLK and competitor strategies
Qualification
Required
BA/BS is required
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication skills and an ability to synthesize complex issues and ideas. Solid written and oral skills
Strong quantitative skills, including high proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Superior organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
Self-starters who enjoy working in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects
Series 7 and 66 required or expected to be completed within 6 months of hire
Preferred
2 to 3 years of Fixed Income Experience Preferred
