Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end architectural design of SAP EWM (Embedded or Decentralized) on S/4HANA
Design and configure core warehouse processes: Inbound receipt, Deconsolidation, Putaway strategies, Picking, Packing, and Outbound shipping
Architect Yard Management solutions to manage large-scale, outdoor utility inventory (e.g., poles, transformers, and cable reels)
Define Slotting and Rearrangement strategies to optimize warehouse space and equipment accessibility
Conduct Business Blueprinting workshops to define the "To-Be" warehouse processes
Drive the strategy for Mobile Data Entry (RF/Fiori) to ensure workers in both indoor and outdoor environments can execute tasks efficiently
Design Wave Management and Labor Management to optimize the daily flow of warehouse tasks and staff productivity
Provide clear functional specifications for technical teams and oversee the testing and validation of custom enhancements
Implement Handling Unit Management (HUM) to ensure high accuracy for bulk and serialized inventory
Design replenishment strategies to ensure inventory levels meet operational demands without overstocking
Lead the data migration strategy for warehouse master data, ensuring a clean transition from legacy systems

Required

12+ years in SAP Supply Chain, with at least 3+ full-lifecycle SAP EWM implementations as a Lead Architect
Advanced knowledge of EWM process modeling, including POSC (Process-Oriented Storage Control) and LOSC (Layout-Oriented Storage Control)
Deep experience in RF configuration and Fiori-based warehouse apps
Strong understanding of S/4HANA EWM deployment options
Experience managing warehouse operations for heavy assets, industrial equipment, or large-scale distribution centers
Proven ability to lead design workshops and present complex architectural solutions to executive stakeholders
Ability to manage design work and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively in a virtual environment
Ability to travel to client sites for critical milestones such as physical site mapping, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live deployment
