Responsibilities
Perform requirements analysis and decomposition
Create boundary diagrams and interface specifications
Design and promote new control systems and sub processes
Analyze engineering data from engines or machines
Evaluate new products or processes or systems
Keep up to date on new technologies such as Matlab/Simulink
Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, customers and suppliers
Communicate the voice of the customer, and their project specifications to the Applications Engineering team, such that they can select, quote, and manufacture the appropriate configurations of equipment
Review individual equipment approval drawings to ensure correct and accurate information and compliance to corporate standards prior to sending to customer
Feature by feature software development per Software Requirements Document of embedded software applications that control engines
Integration, development, and simulation, and validation utilizing: C++/Python/Matlab Simulink; CAN/J1939; and Development calibration tools (CANalyzer)
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
2-4 years experience
C++/Python/Matlab Simulink; CAN/J1939; and Development calibration tools
