Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy high quality software solutions within an Agile environment
Engage in technical design, coding with test automation, documentation, and continuous integration practices
Guide junior team members, influence design decisions, and contribute to engineering communities within the organization
Qualification
Required
Java and Python experience focused on backend development
AWS experience or certification
Ability and willingness to learn new programming languages
Strong foundation in software development, engineering principles, and application development
Experience with integration testing, automation testing, and load testing
Proactive approach to problem solving and strong communication skills
Ability to support and collaborate with multiple engineering teams
Interest in building internal tools used by developers and SRE teams to streamline testing and operational processes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Three or more years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering
Preferred
Experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS
Programming experience with Java or Python and related frameworks
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
Experience with CI and CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git or GitHub
Commitment to high quality standards and automated testing
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
OpenShift Container Platform
Contract testing using Pact or experience setting up a Pact Broker
Golang
Full stack development with React or Node.js
Risk management knowledge
