Responsibilities
Implementation and support of a Full Linux stack
Kubernetes infrastructure deployment & support. Working closely with DevSecOps Team for Kubernetes management
Proficiency in programming languages for scripting
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
Design, implement and maintain automated using Ansible, Terraform and PowerShell
Participate in the design, implementation, and integration of a wide range of Cloud and hybrid cloud technologies including Azure and Amazon based IaaS and PaaS offerings
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across the software development and deployment lifecycle
Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems in Zywave systems. Coordinate maintenance with the appropriate internal teams as well as support providers and/or vendors
Document process and procedures as well as troubleshooting techniques to aid in the retention and dissemination of knowledge
Provide off-hours on call rotation and support as needed including support for product updates, equipment upgrades, and addressing technical issues
Assist with cross-training of team members while staying abreast of industry knowledge
Assist with Ansible Tower product solutions in the enterprise as they relate to the Linux infrastructure
Assist personnel of other departments as an IT resource
Share on-call responsibilities with the rest of the IT Engineering teams
Perform other tasks on projects as needed/assigned
Occasional domestic travel may be required less than 5 percent of the time
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science plus at least 4 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar position or equivalent combination of education and technical experience
At least 4 years of experience working with Full Linux stack
Deep understanding of programming languages for scripting
Deep understanding of working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
3+ years of Linux systems design/implementation experience or equivalent combination of education and technical experience
Fundamental understanding and extensive history of Linux Systems administration at enterprise scale with expertise in Ubuntu and RHEL systems
Solid understanding with Apache, Ansible, PHP and Python application management
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure
Ability to work in a team environment
Proven ability to understand and design how different system layers (Application, Container, network and infrastructure) work together and interact
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain productive in an exciting service-driven and results-oriented environment
Demonstrated organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with Prometheus and Grafana is a plus
CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administration) Certification is a plus
