Responsibilities

Manage and grow assigned key distributor and operator accounts within the Away From Home channel
Lead and collaborate with broker partners to ensure alignment, execution, and accountability
Develop and execute annual business plans to deliver volume, revenue, and profitability objectives
Partner with Finance to ensure account health, including pricing, trade spend, deductions, and contract compliance
Execute national marketing initiatives, customer programs, and new product launches
Identify and activate local and national growth opportunities to increase brand visibility and velocity
Analyze distributor and customer data to assess performance, trends, and risks
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, R&D, and Culinary teams
Represent Heartland at trade shows, distributor events, and customer meetings
Travel required to effectively manage accounts and relationships

Required

Requires Bachelor Degree in Business/Sales
Proven experience in foodservice sales, preferably within the Away From Home channel
Strong understanding of broadline distribution and distributor selling models
Demonstrated success managing key accounts and broker relationships
Ability to translate product capabilities and menu trends into growth strategies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong business acumen with comfort in analytics, pricing, and financial metrics
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
