Human Resources Business Partner

The HRBP will collaborate with business leaders, manage talent development, and ensure compliance with labor laws while acting as a trusted advisor to employees and management.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives
Analyze workforce trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic initiatives
Champion of employee events
Support talent acquisition efforts by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
Develop and implement talent development programs, succession planning, and performance management processes
Partner with the HR team on New Hire Orientation for local employees
Oversee performance review process for local teams
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts
On an as-needed basis, conduct thorough investigations for Title VII claims or allegations
Work collaboratively with internal and external legal counsel
Promote a positive work environment and uphold organizational values and culture
Conduct exit interviews
Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations specific to the transportation sector
Develop, communicate, and implement HR policies and procedures
Serve as point of contact for property management matters and liaison with corporate facilities team
Manage office supply inventory
Special projects as needed

Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives

Proven high level HR skills including employee relations, employment law, employee engagement, compensation, performance management, recruitment, and training and development
Ability to design and deliver HR programs to effectively address business issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and ability to handle sensitive situations/documentation
Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a matrix environment

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree, preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP, Preferred
5+ years of progressive HR experience preferred or equivalent relevant work experience, and strong business acumen
