Responsibilities

Create models for new data warehouse development and/or changes to existing data stores
Design and manage data warehouse development and any future improvement and growth projects
Identify inefficiencies and gaps in current data systems and leverage solutions to ensure data standards
Diagnose and resolve data system and/or data warehouse access and performance issues
Oversee and enforce Data Governance policies

Oversee data collection, master data and databases
Create models for new data warehouse development and/or changes to existing data stores
Design and manage data warehouse development and any future improvement and growth projects
Identify inefficiencies and gaps in current data systems and leverage solutions to ensure data standards
Diagnose and resolve data system and/or data warehouse access and performance issues
Oversee and enforce Data Governance policies
Working technical experience with strategically designing and implementing data warehouses, data marts, and data stores
Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
Effective written and oral communications in order to establish and maintain good rapport with business and agency staff for effective and timely problem identification and resolution of problems
Knowledge and ability to utilize the current version of the following products: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, .Net (Visual Basic, C#), Java or other modern development languages, SQL Database, Azure DevOps, Windows Server OS, functions/commands, SQL Management Studio, SQL (language), Visual Studio
Eight (8) years of direct experience relative to the field of work, with at least five (5) years of direct experience with data architecting, data mining, large-scale data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, a related engineering field, or equivalent work experience
