Responsibilities

Own and execute key components of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, allocations, depreciation, and intercompany transactions
Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements
Own all revenue recognition and reconciliation processes
Prepare a monthly cash forecast
Perform and own monthly balance sheet reconciliations, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
Review general ledger activity to identify trends, anomalies, and operational drivers
Preparation of monthly financial and management reporting packages
Analyze P&L results and provide clear, practical explanations of variances to budget and prior periods
Partner with department leaders to explain expense trends and operational impacts
Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis as needed
Prepare audit-ready workpapers and schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Support state, local and other required tax compliance filings
Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors on assigned areas
Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal accounting policies, and established controls
Assist in documenting, maintaining, and improving accounting policies and procedures
Identify inefficiencies or control gaps and propose practical, scalable improvements
Support accounting system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives
Serve as a reliable backup to the VP of Finance
Collaborate closely with the Finance team in Armenia, HR, and cross-functional teams
Communicate confidently and professionally with stakeholders across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience in an operational corporate environment
Demonstrated experience supporting external audits and preparing audit documentation
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Hands-on experience with full-cycle month-end close
Advanced Excel skills required

Preferred

Experience working in growing, changing, or resource-constrained environments strongly preferred
QuickBooks experience preferred
