Responsibilities

Manages a large franchise restaurant kitchen
Oversees all food production operations and is responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparation, and presentation of all food products in a timely manner and according to established recipes and procedures
Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
Maintains budgeted food and kitchen labor costs and proper inventories
Ensures proper handling, maintenance and storage of all items
As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors' employees
Conducts management review of patron food production programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures
Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment
Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity

Required

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
A one-year probationary period may be required
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation
The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required
Will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Statement to safeguard all Franchisor proprietary information
Will be required to complete Franchise training as required in Operating Manuals
Must be able and willing to work a schedule that includes working nights, weekends, and holidays
Work experience managing or directing the activities of full service franchise style restaurant (ie. Steakhouse, etc)

Preferred

Minimum two years experience as a General Manager or Kitchen Manager full service Franchise restaurant concept is preferred
