Responsibilities
Oversee the full lifeycyle of data projects including design, development, and deployment of dashboards, reports, and analytical models
Oversee ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable data integration
Evaluate, implement, and administer BI tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Qlik)
Ensure effective use of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing best practices
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI Analysts and data professionals
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
Promote ownership and high performance across the team
Plan and manage BI and analytics projects, including scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
Support organizational performance measurement initiatives through data analysis and reporting
Act as a liaison between IT, data teams, and business stakeholders to translate needs into effective BI solutions
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and performance improvement opportunities
Provide regular, reliable reporting to leadership and stakeholders
Optimize BI platforms, dashboards, and queries for performance and cost efficiency
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support professional development
Define and execute a data insights and reporting strategy aligned with organizational goals
Partner with leaders across departments to refine reporting, analytics, and KPI frameworks
Establish baseline performance metrics and recommend data-driven process improvements
Establish and enforce data governance standards, documentation, and reporting best practices
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and timeliness through validation and testing
Implement data security controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and technical leads to ensure smooth execution
Ensure BI solutions are scalable, performant, and user-friendly
Leverage Agile and project management methodologies to drive results
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and reporting

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
5-7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field
2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
Strong proficiency in Tableau, SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
Experience with BI platform administration and performance optimization
Experience in data project management from inception to execution to maintenance
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and version control tools
Experience establishing data governance frameworks and standards
Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
