HR Intern

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and delivery of training programs, including onboarding, technical skills, and compliance courses
Support the creation and maintenance of training materials, schedules, and documentation
Help track employee training progress and maintain accurate records in HRIS systems
Collaborate with HR and cross functional teams to identify workforce development needs
Participate in organizing training sessions, conferences, and learning events
Conduct research on best practices in industrial training and workforce development
Provide administrative support for HR projects, as needed

Required

Currently enrolled as a graduate student or upperclassman (Junior/Senior) within a higher education degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Curricular or Program Design and Management, or a related field
Take ownership of tasks and work hard to deliver results
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across the organization
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and contributing to shared goals
Able to take and apply direction effectively, while also being self-motivated and proactive in starting tasks without constant supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

Exposure to or coursework in human resources, education, training, workforce development, or coaching
Experience in creating or delivering educational content, facilitating learning sessions, coaching, or supporting employee onboarding and/or development programs is a plus
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HRIS platforms is preferred
