Compliance Coordinator
Flagger Force is an industry leader in traffic control, currently hiring a Compliance Coordinator. The role involves protecting the integrity of payroll and operational processes by auditing time reporting and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities
Monitor Company vehicle usage and report any unauthorized truck activity
Analyze fuel card transactions to identify patterns of misuse, such as fueling personal vehicles or unauthorized fuel storage
Audit employee timesheets using GPS data to detect inflated hours and verify time accuracy
Collaborate with all internal business units to confirm whether additional time was client-approved and obtain written approval when necessary
Ensure time discrepancies are addressed prior to weekly payroll processing deadlines
Review and audit travel time, flagging inconsistencies or non-compliant submissions
Recommend process improvements and controls related to payroll accuracy, field reporting and compliance
Document audit findings and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions
Support the Payroll Supervisor with ad-hoc analyses and special projects as needed

Qualification
Required
Natural curiosity and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
Comfort in reviewing large data sets (e.g., timesheets, GPS logs, fuel reports)
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with field leadership and internal departments
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other audit or reporting tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
Steel toe boots or the ability to obtain prior to employment
Experience in the transportation, logistics or construction industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required
Preferred
Prior experience in payroll, audit, compliance or operations preferred
