Information Services
Responsibilities
Process daily accounting transactions and prepare journal entries with accurate coding
Review bank activity and reconcile transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy
Manage accounts payable operations, including vendor setup and payment processing
Serve as a point of contact for vendors and payees regarding payment procedures
Support month-end close activities and assist with financial reporting
Reconcile donation and revenue activity between banking records and reporting platforms
Coordinate with payroll and benefits partners to ensure accurate expense recording
Assist with year-end close, audit preparation, and required tax reporting schedules
Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and internal policies
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and reconciliations
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and GAAP principles
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and maintain accountability in a remote setting
