Responsibilities
Provide claims notification to reinsurance companies. This includes initial notice and follow up until final settlement
Assist in reconciliations related to new system implementation
Preparation of premium remittances to ensure timely and accurate submission to brokers and reinsurers
Record cash application of reinsurance premium and claims into our Sapiens and WINS reinsurance systems
Prepare reinsurance billing of claims accurately
Various ad hoc projects
Qualification
Required
Major in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
PC proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Access
Good interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with internal and external customers
Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work FT hours per week during summer (school leave) and 15 to 20 hours per week during school
Preferred
Experience in insurance is a plus but not necessary
