Responsibilities

Perform a variety of physical property testing including, but not limited to; tensile, compression, flexural, hardness, thermal conductivity, flammability, water absorption, vapor transmission, color, gloss, adhesion, weld macros, charpy, sample etching, hardness and microhardness, etc
Prepare and analyze samples for testing, primarily in the non-metallic department with crossover into the metallic department as available
Interpret data, review, and report testing results
Assist testing engineers with tasks as needed

Materials ScienceLaboratory TestingWillingness to LearnCommunication Skills

Required

Working toward a Bachelor's or Associate degree in the field of Materials Science or related field
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn and participate in testing within a laboratory setting
