Human Resources Payroll Coordinator
LHH is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to find an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist to support multi-state payroll and core HR operations. The role requires attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Process bi‑weekly U.S. and Canadian payroll, including taxes, deductions, and garnishments
Maintain payroll compliance across federal, state/provincial, and local regulations
Support tax notices, registrations, reporting, and audits
Maintain HRIS data and employee records
Assist with onboarding, verifications, scheduling, and employee lifecycle tasks
Prepare reports, support audits, and provide internal payroll/HR support
Qualification
Required
3–5 years multi‑state payroll (10+ states required)
Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and reporting
Proficiency in payroll systems + Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and confidential
Preferred
Canadian payroll experience
Bachelor's degree in HR/Business
