Responsibilities
Develop and maintain work instructions, quality inspections, quality work instructions and documentation throughout the facility
Take the quality lead for customer projects following APQP and customer maturity level assurance
Perform systematic problem solving following the 8D method
Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO, IATF, and VDA
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
Collaborate with purchasing team to resolve quality issues within the supply chain
Review and approve quality plans, inspection procedures, and test methods
Provide technical support for customer complaints and nonconformance investigations
Work with team to determine disposition of suspect material
Work with a team and support MSA studies and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field
3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of ISO, IATF and VDA
Experience of the Audit process and/or willing to have training to be certified
Preferred
Certification in Six Sigma, FMEA moderation, 8D, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5
