Responsibilities
Complete sales calls and presentations
Cultivate and handle a large portfolio of potential accounts aiming to meet personal target sales expectations
Utilize existing networks and account leads to gain business or interest from potential accounts
Conduct in-depth, targeted market research to identify and target potential business opportunities
Interface with internal and external senior level stakeholders
Assist senior colleagues with advanced aspects of the deal process
Participate in various professional and industry organizations and attend conferences to expand and maintain a professional network
Qualification
Required
Broker License
Minimum of five years' experience with new business development required, ideally with large group insurance experience
Proven insurance industry experience with individual and group insurance products
Preferred
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
