Responsibilities
Review and evaluate current state of the art standoff sensing technologies
Work with drone range operators to identify environmental risks and mitigations for testing advanced standoff sensing capabilities
Support the development of a research test plan to incorporate sensing technologies with autonomous platform
Qualification
Required
Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree program in chemistry, biology, or a related discipline
Demonstrated excellence in math, physics, chemistry and biology
Laboratory skills in chemistry, biology, or a related discipline
Demonstrated programming proficiencies
Sustained excellence in academic performance
Preferred
Demonstrated interest in serving the public
Strong understanding of mathematical methods for data analysis
Prior experience synthesizing organizing and reporting complex data topics
Ability to work both independently and in a group setting
