NEOGOV is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources Department in providing services to employees and the public. The role involves administrative support, coordinating special projects, and maintaining personnel records.

Responsibilities

Coordinates special projects such as employee recognition and engagement events
Prepares documents, department paperwork, requisitions, and material for on­ line job advertisements
Performs data or word processing operations that include data entry, encoding, retrieving data as well as working with software applications and programs
Processes, codes and maintains personnel, payroll and fiscal records for the Human Resources Department
Composes, memos, letters, and forms; prepares documents and correspondence for employees, beneficiaries and providers to facilitate benefits delivery
Prepares and distributes response letters to all employment applicants
Serves as primary phone operator, directing calls and providing information to the general public, other entities and employees
Coordinates personnel files, scanning, and organization within the HR office
Performs related work as assigned

Required

High School Graduation or GED equivalent
One year of human resources, customer service, clerical support or related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history
