This position will primarily be responsible for managing cloud platforms and leading the scalability of the new Power BI platform rollout, as well as configuring and upgrading hardware and software to maintain the integrity of the company’s technology environment.

Responsibilities
Administering the Power BI platform
Managing cloud platforms
Leading the scalability of the new Power BI platform rollout
Managing Microsoft Fabric capacity to ensure optimization for user performance and cost management
Configuring, installing, and upgrading hardware and software to maintain the integrity of the company’s technology environment
Troubleshooting issues
Developing solutions aligned with organizational standards
Supporting the integration of DevOps tools such as API Gateway and Terraform with authentication, caching, and logging services
Collaborating with DevOps and production teams to test new features and support launches
Refining templates and scripts for automation
Creating prioritized task lists while managing inter-team dependencies
Identifying security threats and recommending compliance measures
Reviewing and refining security and resiliency policies
Contributing to high-level design documentation
Compiling data for user requests
Coordinating platform changes and customizations with vendors to ensure smooth operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
6+ years of professional experience in platform engineering and infrastructure components
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and log management tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic, ELK
Experience managing and maintaining cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) (Azure strongly preferred)
Strong background in backend operational support (patching, upgrades, etc.) for data platforms and servers
Experience administering Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Business Objects
Preferred
Knowledge of Windows Server or SQL Server
Experience with enterprise business intelligence and data platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Snowflake, and Fivetran
Familiar with networking fundamentals such as load balancers, firewalls, application proxies, and security brokers
Familiar with security fundamentals such as principle of least privilege, data encryption, data classification and tagging, and secrets management
Working knowledge of RESTful development practices
Experience administering MS Fabric, Power BI, and Azure (not just developing reports/dashboards with PowerBI)
