Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team
Assist in the technical design of large business systems
Build applications, interfaces between applications
Understand data security, retention, and recovery
Research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions
Contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards
Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability
Contribute expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc
Guide/mentor the team during the build and test phases
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Experience working in Application support, maintenance and analysis in Unix Shell scripting and Strong knowledge in SQL/Snowflake
Experience in Application support / Production support/ L3 support, maintenance and analysis skills mandatory Gitlab and Monitoring Tools like Kibana
Preferred
At least 6 years of experience in Unix Shell scripting
At least 5 years of experience in SQL/Snowflake
At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle
At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
At least 4 years of experience in project scoping, estimation and scheduling
Knowledge of architectural frameworks and design principals
Basic domain knowledge in Capital Markets and Finance
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
