Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory/business development strategy focused on international freight forwarding
Identify and pursue new opportunities in air freight, ocean freight (FCL/LCL), customs brokerage, and related supply chain services
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals
Lead client meetings (in-person and virtual), deliver presentations, and provide tailored logistics solutions
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to win and retain business
Partner internally with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high service levels
Track performance against sales targets; forecast and report pipeline activity regularly
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions as needed
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity updates within CRM systems
Qualification
Required
5+ years of B2B sales experience in freight forwarding / international logistics
Demonstrated success closing new business and managing high-value accounts
Strong understanding of international shipping processes and services including: Air freight, import/export, Ocean freight import/export (FCL/LCL), Incoterms
Customs and compliance fundamentals
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client meetings
