Social Media and Marketing Specialist

GuidingPoint Financial Group is seeking a Social Media and Marketing Specialist to champion content creation and social media planning. The role involves managing email marketing, graphic design, and assisting with event planning while working closely with the Marketing Specialist and CEO.

Responsibilities

Creating original content within corporate and compliance guidelines
Augmenting original content with content from a vast catalog available through Corporate that will appeal to each advisor’s client and prospect base
Scheduling social media content via our software platform
Monitoring engagement of social media campaigns
Sharing events to social media as appropriate
Planning advertising spend, placement, and monitoring of social media campaigns
Graphic design work as needed for event invitations, social media graphics, email campaigns, etc
Creating written content that is compliant to brand standards
Creation of videos for social media purposes – set up, filming, editing, or coordinating with appropriate vendors
Making sure that all materials are branded appropriately
Helping create invitations and procuring compliance approval before deadlines
Making sure all elements of event are double checked, contracts signed, budget and decisions verified with management
Prep for events ranging from mailing invites, purchasing, sign in sheets, RSVP sheets, to follow up calls
Entry of events into Event Builder for Compliance purposes and follow up
Assisting with in-person and virtual events, including direct client and prospect interaction
Crafting messaging campaigns for LinkedIn prospecting
Watching engagement levels for social media posts and seeing what materials are most successful with getting engagement
Boosting posts as needed for events and other promotions and posts
Helping to establish a year-round events/seminars/social media/and branding calendar that will appeal to our top client base
Adding events to website as they are approved by ACMR and/or added to Event Builder
Making sure photos and information is kept up-to-date
Monthly maintenance and refresh of content within allowed parameters
Adding new advisors and staff to website as needed
Making sure that new or promoted advisors and staff go through onboarding checklist in timely fashion
Scheduling and taking headshots
Adding in prospects to drip campaigns monthly
Adding prospects and clients on new campaigns
Other Social Media and Marketing duties as assigned

Required
