Responsibilities
Support senior financial leadership across all accounting and financial functions, with the ability to independently manage priorities and outcomes
Play an active role in month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, forecasts, and variance reporting
Partner with department leaders to translate financial insights into operational action
Oversee core accounting functions including A/P, A/R, payroll, purchasing controls, and cash management
Ensure compliance with GAAP, labor regulations, internal SOPs, and applicable local/state requirements
Monitor financial performance across multiple departments including lodging, food & beverage, events, wellness, and ancillary operations
Represent the finance function in leadership discussions as needed, including executive-level meetings and reporting
Support team development, accountability, and continuous process improvement within the accounting function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
3–6+ years of progressive hospitality finance experience in a luxury or full-service environment
Experience operating at an Assistant Director, Assistant Controller, or senior Accounting Manager level
Demonstrated ability to function with near-Director autonomy while maintaining alignment with senior leadership
Strong working knowledge of hospitality systems (PMS, POS, back-office platforms)
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
Detail-oriented, hands-on operator with strong business judgment
Clear, confident communicator capable of influencing cross-functional leaders
