Responsibilities

Review customer requests for quotes, identify proposal requirements, and assist in proposal development
Analyze and redline contractual terms and conditions for acceptability, assessing risk and providing mitigation strategies
Monitor contract compliance and oversee the execution of contract deliverables
Ensure timely communication of contract information and resolution of issues with internal and external stakeholders
Lead negotiations, structure agreements, and administer contractual documents to ensure alignment with company policies and government regulations
Support customer meetings and negotiations, which may require occasional travel
Recognize and address risk elements in business transactions and contracts, offering mitigation alternatives
Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), and other applicable government regulations and/or internal policies and/or internal policies
Drive continuous improvement in contract management practices, tools, and processes
Collaborate with finance, pricing, and legal teams to achieve business and financial objectives

Required

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Active and transferable U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start date and have the ability to obtain Top Secret U.S. Government clearance after start date if needed
Experience with U.S. Government contracts

Preferred

Experience with administration and negotiation of complex proposals and contracts
Ability to analyze complex business scenarios, identify risks, and develop effective solutions
Proven track record of independently managing workloads and driving issues to resolution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft and deliver clear, concise business correspondence
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and leadership teams
