Responsibilities
Play a vital role in division efforts to effectively meet grant program requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Assist with the application process for grants from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Provide technical support to state and local agencies relating to implementation of various grant programs
Hands-on development of appropriate guidance materials
Host and present at meetings with stakeholders from other state departments and local government agencies
Provide technical assistance to grant subrecipients
Qualification
Required
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount of experience is required
Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience
Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service
Departmental Analyst 9 - 12: Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement
