Responsibilities
Executing procurement excellence operations using USG’s ERP system, reporting tools, and other job-related solutions
Creating flowcharts and detailing step-by-step process instructions for key purchasing and procurement activities in collaboration with team members to improve process efficiencies
Developing procurement metrics for category/item spend management and conducting data analysis to support cost improvement initiatives
Creating and updating procurement manuals, purchasing policies, SOPs, and SOWs in line with operational needs and procurement best practices
Collaborating closely with the Sourcing Team and Sourcing Process Intern on data corrections throughout the purchasing process
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a degree program in business, supply chain, or manufacturing at an accredited institution
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong experience with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Understanding of statistics and data analysis
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other reporting tools is a plus
