They are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of their solar panel recycling facility, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance and operation of the building and site, including facilities equipment, machinery, and utility infrastructure
Responsible for EHS functions, Safety Management by Walking Around (SMBWA) and 5s
Oversee building, facilities and utility system upgrades, renovations, and expansions as needed to support manufacturing operations
Manage utility supply to the factory, including interface with utility providers
Manage the Facilities maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and support as needed
Manage outsourced services for security, janitorial, landscaping, pest control, Fire alarm and sprinkler system, etc
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
Monitor and analyze facility performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Develop and manage Facilities opex and capex budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols
Coordinate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and safety, to ensure seamless operations
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities management of manufacturing facilities, with a strong understanding of maintenance, operations and project management
Experience with EHS programs and OSHA and environmental compliance rules
Experience managing projects and programs
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols
Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office, and facility management software and tools
Preferred
Military background is highly preferred
Licensed electrician highly preferred
