Responsibilities
Drive solutions for manufacturing issues and continuous improvement projects
Collaborate with production teams to develop actionable plans and implement corrective measures
Lead cross-functional efforts to address product-level challenges using proven problem-solving methods like 7-Step and 8D
Develop and refine manufacturing processes, operation sequences, and tooling requirements for new and existing product lines
Configure Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure alignment with factory needs
Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability
Interpret and update design drawings and models using CAD tools; apply mechanical considerations such as thermal and airflow analysis
Analyze manufacturing data using MES tools and statistical process control to drive design and process improvements
Support project planning with Gantt charts and milestone tracking
Travel opportunities (up to 25%) to collaborate with teams globally
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
2–4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related fields
Solid understanding of fabrication processes (frame/rack, precision machinery, sheet metal, machined parts)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data
Familiarity with CAD tools and basic project planning
Comfortable presenting technical information and collaborating across teams
Preferred
Exposure to optical, electromechanical, or motion control systems is a plus
Knowledge of Matlab, JMP, LabVIEW, or scripting languages (Python) is a bonus
