They are seeking a Health Care Technician Lead to serve as building charge in Arbor Cottage, coordinating schedules and staff coverage for individuals with medical and behavioral challenges.

Serve as building charge in Arbor Cottage
Coordinate 2nd shift schedules and staff coverage

Qualification

Nurse Aide I certificationNurse Aide II certificationEMT certificationMulti-handicapped individualsTraining program deliveryBasic health care knowledgeHygieneSafety knowledge

Required

High school or General Educational Development diploma and two years of closely related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation
As applicable, listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing
As applicable, North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
Must be in good standing with the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry
Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Counsel

Preferred

Experience working with multi-handicapped individuals having knowledge of basic health care, hygiene and safety
Experience in delivering training programs for adult learners
