ANALYST II
The Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) protects and serves California consumers while ensuring a competent and fair marketplace. The Administrative & Policy Analyst will perform complex administrative, analytical, and regulatory functions, acting as a liaison to the Board and coordinating regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities
Independently performs a wide variety of complex administrative, analytical, and regulatory functions
Acting as the primary liaison to the Board and its Government & Public Affairs Committee, coordinating regulatory and legislative initiatives, and providing high-level analytical support to BCE management
Influence policy, streamline administrative processes, and contribute to BCE's mission of protecting California consumers through the regulation of chiropractic care
Qualification
Required
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use good judgment in decision-making
Ability to exercise creativity in problem identification and resolution
Ability to be flexible under changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to manage time and resources efficiently
Ability to work collaboratively with BCE and DCA staff, Board members, external agencies, stakeholders, licensees, and the public
Ability to maintain consistent, regular, and punctual attendance
Ability to be responsive to the needs of the Board, Executive Officer, and BCE management
