Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations
Develop and optimize SQL-based transformations in Snowflake
Create clean, validated datasets to support analytics, dashboards, and AI models (Tableau, Snowflake Cortex, etc.)
Automate workflows using Python or similar scripting tools
Integrate data from on‑prem, SaaS, and cloud sources into Snowflake
Apply data quality processes, lineage tracking, and metadata standards
Troubleshoot data flow and performance issues across multiple systems
Support self-service analytics through improved dataset design and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or database integration
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational data modeling
Solid understanding of modern ETL/ELT patterns
Hands-on experience with Snowflake
Experience gathering and translating business and technical requirements
Experience with Fivetran connectors or similar ingestion tools
Python experience for data workflows, automation, or quality checks
Familiarity with Tableau data sources and performance considerations
Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy best practices
Preferred
Designing scalable and maintainable data pipelines
Efficient SQL query tuning and transformation logic
Diagnosing and resolving end-to-end data flow issues
Automating repetitive processes to improve efficiency
Managing multiple projects and deadlines
Data warehousing concepts, modeling, and orchestration
Business intelligence and reporting tool familiarity (e.g., Tableau)
Adapting quickly to new tools, technologies, and evolving data needs
Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments
