Infojini Inc is seeking a Specialist 3 – IT Security Engineer to serve as a Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) Subject Matter Expert (SME). This role will support ongoing Class 1/2/3 and Call Handling upgrades for the NG911 emergency call system and provide deep technical expertise during the configuration, implementation, and testing phases of the project.

Responsibilities

Review and assess enterprise security solutions, including:
Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
DNS / DNSSEC
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Research, recommend, and plan the implementation of new or updated security hardware and software, and analyze impacts to the existing environment
Provide hands-on technical expertise for the administration and optimization of security tools
Evaluate and define:
Firewall policies
Next-generation threat protections
SSL/TLS encryption and decryption strategies
Vulnerability protection profiles
Content filtering and perimeter security controls

Required

Minimum 12 years of experience in a technical or business application, platform, product, or methodology
Strong understanding of cybersecurity trends, security frameworks, and methodologies
Solid knowledge of the OSI model and TCP/IP networking stack
Proven experience designing secure networks, systems, and applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and security
Experience developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures
Hands-on experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems

Preferred

Cybersecurity experience in a PSAP / PSAC environment, specifically supporting NG911 systems
Relevant certifications, such as: CISSP, Security+, Network+, CCNA, PCNSE
