Responsibilities

Managing, coordinating, and scheduling the Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and access equipment necessary for safely performing structure condition inspection work statewide
Managing the Statewide Maintenance of Traffic and Access Equipment contract for structure condition inspection
Coordinating with the district traffic offices to obtain lane closure permits for consultant inspection teams to maintain traffic and provide a safe work zone
Scheduling MOT crews and inspection access equipment for both in-house inspection teams and consultants
Tracking the safety inspection documentation for both SHA-owned and contract-supplied access equipment

Qualification

Bachelor's in EngineeringBridge Inspection ExperienceProfessional Engineering LicenseTraffic Management CoordinationSafety Inspection Documentation

Required

Possession of a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
Two (2) years of experience in professional engineering
One (1) year of the required experience must have involved bridge inspection and/or bridge engineering
Candidate must possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the state of Maryland
