Responsibilities

Perform all the basic duties and less skilled operations in connection with construction, operation, and maintenance performed by personnel in the section
Learn safety rules, practices and procedures used by the company and the section
Assist Electronics Technicians
Perform duties of progressively increasing importance and complexity
Perform assigned work is a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company practices and procedures
This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must possess a valid up-to-date driver license
An understanding of electrical theory and college algebra
Ability to physically bend, stoop, lift and climb, and carry tools for extended periods of time
Ability to climb towers and structures
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work harmoniously with fellow workers and customers maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to work in the field on an all-day basis, overtime, holidays, weekends, inclement weather, and to travel for out-of-town work
Ability to work in a manner that prevents injury
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of basic electronics and algebra
Ability to follow instructions
Neat and orderly work habits
