Responsibilities
Design and implement network infrastructure based on client requirements
Install and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, and SDWANs
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, encompassing both hardware and software problems
Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures
Conduct regular network maintenance, including software and hardware updates
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
Provide network engineering support and training to team members
Support in disaster recovery tests and failover from a WAN perspective
Assist in major router changes, including QoS deployment, VPN/VRF creation, and BGP
Possess a minimum of 12+ years of experience in BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP protocols
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in handling SDWAN and VERSA
Follow the change management process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, processes, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting, maintenance, and future network enhancements
Demonstrate strong leadership, customer handling, and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of network professionals
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
