Responsibilities
Review existing product designs to identify redundant components and opportunities to streamline and optimize designs
Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify component commonization opportunities
Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Perform simulations to assess feasibility of component substitutions and design changes
Actively participate in testing and troubleshooting of 3-phase electrical systems, taking initiative while seeking guidance from senior engineers when required
Support electrical testing activities, including system-level validation and troubleshooting
Maintain detailed documentation of designs, simulations, test procedures, and results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Hands-on experience with 3-phase systems, including electrical testing and troubleshooting
Ability to independently identify and resolve common circuit-level and system-level issues
Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations (IEC and/or NEC codes)
Experience as an individual contributor in areas such as design, validation, simulation, or factory acceptance testing
Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles
Proficiency in using electrical testing tools such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and multimeters
Solid knowledge of electrical components and systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs
Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment
Preferred
Experience with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE or Saber for validating design changes and component substitutions
